Cochrane street sweeping starts Monday, April 25. The Town of Cochrane asks residents to help by moving their vehicles by 8am on their neighbourhood's scheduled sweeping day.
Winter debris on driveways can be swept onto the street away from the curb so sweepers can collect it. The town asks you do not leave it in heavy clumps, as the sweeper will not be able to pick it all up.
Residents are also asked to not sweep gravel into catch basins as it backs them up and contaminates receiving rivers and streams.
If you choose to dispose of excess gravel via your waste bin, ensure it is bagged and the overall weight of the cart does not exceed 55 kg.
