Whether you prefer hip hop or jazz, tap or ballet, Cochrane’s dance studios boast a fall schedule for anyone interested in developing some mad dancing skills.
And, with dance classes in high demand in Cochrane, spaces at the studios have booked up fast.
At Eurhythmics Dance Studio, students can sign up for a semester-worth of programming — be it non-competitive, pre-competitive or competitive programs for dancers ages seven and up. Classes are also offered to children between the ages of three and six.
New to Eurhythmics Dance Studio this semester is the addition of “acro” class, said Jodi Aasen, owner-operator-instructor of the studio. The new dance genre melds dance techniques with the precision and tumbling of acrobatics.
Each year, the studio offers in-class training along with competition experience.
Like Eurhythmics, Snap Dance Studio offers a variety of dance classes to suit any level of commitment. From preschoolers to teenagers, the studio provides guidance in an array of dance, such as lyrical, hip hop and musical theatre.
At Snap Dance, programs range from nine-weeks in length to full-year sessions.
