According to statistics from gasbuddy.com, average prices in the Calgary area are above the 135.5 cents per litre mark for the first time since mid-October.
Gas prices saw a sharp increase at the beginning of January, dipped at the end of the month, were on a significant upward trajectory at the beginning of February and have since plateaued around 136 cents per litre on average.
Cochrane area prices have followed that trend and on Monday, Feb.12 you’ll be paying 136.9 at the pump at every local station.
