On Oct. 31, bundle up your little pumpkins and head down to the Cochrane Ranchehouse for two hours of family friendly Halloween fun.
This year’s Goblin Gathering, hosted by the Town of Cochrane, will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., leaving ample time for trick or treating after the party. The event is open to children six years of age and under.
“This year’s Goblin Gathering is a little different — we’ve included a stage show,” said Jody DiCastri, recreation programmer with the Town. “’The Ringmaster’ will be on stage in the theatre, telling stories and engaging with the children.”
The stage show is set to run in the RancheHouse Theatre and is anticipated to last about 45 minutes.
The Ringmaster, a character created by Gregertainment specifically for this event, will be keeping with the “Night Circus” theme for the party. The gathering will also feature roving magicians, balloon twisters and jugglers, as well as artists to help partygoers with kids’ crafts.
Snacks, in the form of hot dogs, candy and cookies, will be on hand for those attending the event.
Tickets for the two-hour-long Halloween party are $7.50 each and can be purchased at the door or online at cochrane.ca/eservices. Only 200 tickets will be sold.
