The Cochrane & Area Humane Society (CAHS) is currently seeking extra foster homes for its furry friends in anticipation of upcoming construction.
Starting this month, builders will be constructing the new Rehabilitation and Education Centre on existing shelter property. The 4,000-square-foot building is expected to take six months to complete.
During the construction, staff members are requesting extra help with foster homes for the cats, dogs and bunnies to help keep the animals in a lower stress environment.
