RCMP Alberta is still looking to the public for help in identifying the human remains that were found near Cochrane just over a year ago.
A three-dimensional facial approximation of the deceased individual has been constructed and images released to the public by the RCMP.
The response of tips from Alberta residents has been overwhelming, filling the voice mailbox of the RCMP tip line, said Sgt. Patricia Neely.
“If you attempted to call and couldn’t get through, we encourage you to please phone again,” said Neely. “All tips will be followed up on.”
At this point in the investigation, the Calgary Medical Examiner has determined the remains belong to a Caucasian male between the ages of 20 and 60. It is believed that, at some point, the deceased had a broken nose.
The remains were located near a rural property along Township Road 252 last October 13. Cochrane RCMP responded to the call.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the RCMP Tip Line at 403-699-2709 or via email at [email protected].
