Missing woman located in Bow River, "undetermined injuries" reported

A 65-year-old woman has been taken to a Calgary hospital, after being retrieved from the Bow River by emergency services early this morning. The woman, a Cochrane resident, was reported missing by her family at around 6:30 a.m.

A 65-year-old woman has been taken to a Calgary hospital, after being retrieved from the Bow River by emergency services earlier this morning.

The woman, a Cochrane resident, was reported missing by her family at around 6:30 a.m. this morning (Monday, May 27), wearing only housecoat and slippers.

Retrieved alive and reported to have "undetermined injuries," the woman was rescued from the Bow River in Cochrane through the combined efforts of CPS Hawks, Cochrane Fire Services and RCMP police dog services.

Cochrane and Area Victim Services is providing assistance to the family.

No further details will be released.
