After a two-week Give A Little, Help A Lot fundraising campaign earlier this year at Mark’s No Frills, more than $2,000 was donated to a Cochrane mother with multiple sclerosis.
Mother of two, Shelly Irmen, 44, was diagnosed with the disease in 2003 and currently suffers from secondary progressive MS. Irmen has been fundraising for the past couple of months, raising monies for future stem cell treatments.
With support for the community, No Frills was able to donate $2,346.73 to Irmen’s cause last Friday.
