The Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) has recognized Cochrane’s Open Spaces Master Plan (OSMP).
Calgary company O2 Planning and Design, which developed the OSMP, has won the CIP award for planning excellence in recreation planning.
“O2 was an excellent partner and developed a plan for Cochrane’s open spaces that will serve the community for years into the future,” said Suzanne Gaida, senior manager of community services for the town.
“We’re thrilled to see this recognition for them and all their hard work.”
Canadian Institute of Planners aims to advance professional planning excellence by delivering membership and public services in Canada and abroad.
Jared Kessel, Cochrane’s manager of planning, will attend the CIP conference in Vancouver in July to represent the town.
