Parking lot collision leaves one in life-threatening condition

Cochrane RCMP are investigating after a collision took place yesterday afternoon (April 4) in the Mark's No Frills parking lot. 

At around 1:45 p.m. on Saturday (April 4), RCMP received a call that a serious collision occurred in the grocery store parking lot. A 35-year-old woman was struck by a Ford Edge SUV. She was taken to hospital by ambulance in serious, life-threatening condition. The driver of the SUV, an 83-year-old woman remained on scene and has spoken with investigators. 

Both families of those involved have been notified and Cochrane RCMP is asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have dash cam footage to contact the detachment at 403-851-8000. Victim services can also be contacted at the same number if anyone was impacted by this event.
