Over the weekend, the Cochrane RCMP became aware of an alleged threat that was made toward Bow Valley High School in Cochrane for Sept. 24, 2019. At this time, the RCMP is working with school staff to determine the circumstances surrounding the alleged threat.
There will be an increase in police resources at the school on Tuesday, Sept. 24 to help ease any student or parent concerns.
The investigation is ongoing. The RCMP treats investigations such as these very seriously and will continue to take appropriate action to ensure public safety.
