The ongoing storm has led to more than 500 customers experiencing power outages in Cochrane, according to FortisAlberta.
The energy provider's website indicates there are 532 unplanned outages reported in Cochrane, including downtown, the northwest quadrant of the town and the industrial area, East End, Riverview, and slivers of other communities like Glenbow, Cochrane Heights and West Valley.
Power is expected to be restored by 5:30 p.m., according to Fortis.
