Registration for the 8th annual Monumental Tournament of Aces is now open.
The popular Cochrane golfing event will be held at The Links of GlenEagles Oct. 3 and is presented by the Lindsay Leigh Kimmett Memorial Foundation and the Rotary Club of Cochrane.
This year, the tournament will be supporting the warm water therapy pool project at the new aquatic/curling facility, which is currently being constructed next to the Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre.
The Tournament of Aces raised $138,000 last year for the Dr. Lindsay Kimmett Rotary Club of Cochrane Ultrasound Clinic, which is on hold awaiting approval from Alberta Health Services for staffing.
During the course of its seven-year run, the Tournament of Aces has raised over $650,000 for various local and international projects.
The cost to register for the event ranges from $150 for a single golfer with dinner up to a group of four for $600 with dinner; an extra dinner can be purchased for $50.
