RCMP recovered a stolen vehicle from Calgary in Cochrane last month.
A Prius from Calgary stolen earlier this year was discovered in the Mountain View condos garage on June 26.
“It is an ongoing investigation,” explained Sgt. Randy Pack with the Cochrane RCMP.
The Sgt. Explained that all the other reports of tenants using the garage to store other stolen items and vehicles have, so far, turned out unfounded.
No charges have been laid.
Man reports vehicle stolen, forgot where he parked
A Calgary man reported his vehicle stolen after spending the day fishing out in Waiparous area, only to later realize he forgot where he had parked it.
The man went to Waiparous Creek on Tuesday to go fishing, and upon his arrival back to shore discovered his vehicle was not where he had thought he left it.
The man called the police to report it stolen and after a short investigation, the vehicle was discovered on a different side of the bank where the man had parked it.
