Suspected drunk driver delays plea to January

The plea of alleged impaired driver, Ryan Jordan Gibson, has been delayed to Jan. 24, as suggested by his lawyer in Cochrane Provincial Court on Dec. 18.

Gibson, a 22-year-old Calgary man, is being charged with six offences, including impaired driving causing death, after the Dec. 6 collision that resulted in the death of 17-year-old Cochrane resident Brandon Thomas.

Two other vehicles were involved in the accident.

The accused did not appear in court.
