A vehicle that caught fire can be blamed for the backed up traffic Wednesday afternoon on Highway 22.
A man's truck caught fire while driving towards Bragg Creek. Both Redwood Meadow Emergency Services and Foothills Fire Services responded to the call.
Rob Evans, Redwood fire chief said the man was able to safely escape the flames uninjured.
"The truck is a total write-off," Evans said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
