The United Way of Calgary and area is partnering with McDonald’s in Cochrane to donate $1 from every Egg McMuffin, Big Mac, McChicken, and Happy Meal sold next Wednesday.

The United Way of Calgary and Area partners with Cochrane’s Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) to help support community groups through annual grant funding.

Earlier this year, the partnership between the Cochrane FCSS advisory board and the United Way helped 12 community groups with over $160,000 in grant funding.

FCSS helps the United Way by hosting an annual fundraiser in Cochrane. This is the first year McDonald’s will be partnering with the organizations to help.

The Cochrane restaurant is located at 202 Fifth Ave. West.
