The revamp of Mitford pond has started, with the benches and pergola roof expected to be in place and ready for use this skating season.
The upgrading project has been funded by the hard fundraising work of the Lindsay Leigh Kimmett Memorial Foundation. Already the foundation has accessed federal funding from the Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund, which supported upgrades to the stage in Mitford Park this past spring.
