The MD of Bighorn has approved a conditional road use agreement with Spray Lake Sawmills (SLS) to allow logging trucks to operate on residential roads.

The Beaupre Community Hall will be holding its annual Christmas Market on Saturday, Nov. 21. The market is free admission and will be a source for unique handmade gifts such as jewelry, woodwork, paintings, and much more for a reasonable price.

The annual Santa Claus Parade is taking place next month in Cochrane is still searching for more than half of the volunteers needed to make the parade possible.

A former Bearspaw resident has made the jump from an accomplished (and published) poet to budding novelist with her first feature length novel. She’ll be presenting her work at the Cochrane Public Library this Saturday, Nov. 14, from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
