The biannual ‘Used Toy and Clothing Sale’ will be held at a new venue, the Spray Lake Sawmills (SLS) Family Sports Centre this May 24 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

The fourth annual ‘Tunes for Trails’ will take place the evening of May 24 at the Bragg Creek Centre. The annual shindig sees an average attendance of 400 to dance the night away in support of the Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association (GBCTA).

In the afternoon of May 8, the friends and family of Jordan Kalinchuk gathered near Mitford Pond, releasing orange balloons in the air in recognition of the 23-year-old volunteer firefighter.

Young Cochranites rejoice…the Cochrane Children’s Festival is back. Little tykes from in and around town can head down to Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre May 17 from 12-4 p.m. to partake in an afternoon of fun.

The Hideout Pub is hitting the funny button one Saturday a month for as long as Cochrane wants to keep laughing. That Saturday for the month of May falls on May 17.
