Local farmers open their gates for Alberta Open Farm Days
“The farms have worked really hard this year to make sure that everything is following the guidelines from AHS [Alberta Health Services] and the government,” said Alberta Open Farms Day market coordinator Nicola Doherty. “The farms have been really creative in coming up with different ways people can interact and learn about farming in Alberta while keeping safe."

Cochrane and Area Events Society planning walk-by Labour Day Parade
“We’re running a reverse parade,” said Cochrane and Area Event Society vice president Ericka Richards. She explained during the event visitors will be able to walk by stationary parade floats along a designated route at the Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre parking lot. “They can see everything without being all crowded together.”
