“Cochrane is very resilient but there’s always struggles when you’re going through something like this,” Councillor Susan Flowers said. “It’s such unprecedented times that we don’t really know what people are going to need or what they’re hoping for.”

“I want people to take forward from here that change is here now and you can do it right now. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t do it before, do it from here on out and continue to grow and everything will change for everybody," Calgary activist Adora Nwofor said. "It will be a better world.”

“Even though we’re not able to gather at Mitford Park for a huge celebration we’re bringing the elements of the party to all of the various communities in Cochrane.”
