A young family needs your help, Cochrane.

Building Futures is a program designed to implement a level of success within students that will translate into tomorrow.

The St. Timothy Thunder cross country team had a nice showing on the provincial stage after taking home their first City Championship last weekend.

Air 91.5 FM will be on Cochrane's airwaves on Oct. 24.

"Bert Church is a fast, athletic team," Vaillancourt said of the Cobras future opponent. "We are going to have to play well in order to beat them. We need to move the ball and keep possession because they also have a good offence that can make you pay." 

Jeff Genung expresses his thoughts about the Liberal minority government and what this means for Alberta as well as Cochrane.

Richards said he was surprised by the results and said he sensed during his campaigning that Canadians had an appetite for change.

"We walked away with the four points needed on Friday and Sunday. On Saturday, calls weren't really going our way, but I think we proved that we can compete with any team in this league. The team came in focused and determined and that was a huge factor in our success."

Local citizen Dan Kroffat presents a cheque for $5,830 to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 15 of Cochrane.
