Mayor Jeff Genung has made it clear that the Town of Cochrane is in support of the Commuter Rail project that is currently being reviewed by the province.

A crow caused a 45 -minute power outage to homes in Cochrane and Rocky View this morning. At approximately 8:15 a.m.

Council stayed just under their $45,000 budget for community grants, approving applications that met the criteria officially at Monday night council. Deadline to apply to the program was May 1, with a total community request of $86,500.
