After spending a day assessing the damage of the 4 a.m. fire that ‘engulfed’ the 142-year-old historic McDougall Church, the board of directors are hopeful to rebuild.

The historic 142-year-old McDougall Church located approximately 30 kilometres west of Cochrane caught fire during the early hours May 22. Fire services from the MD of Bighorn responded to the blaze. No one was available for comment on Monday.
