Cochrane's Trinity Taekwon-Do will be sending 27 athletes to compete in the Canadian Taekwon-Do Federation International (CTFI) National Championships that will be held at Genesis Place in Calgary on Nov. 10 and 11. "We are super excited.

Local personal trainer/natural fitness competitor Renee Prusak is beaming brightly that in just over one week she will be representing Cochrane on the world stage.

In the still relatively young Heritage Junior Hockey League (HJHL) season, the Cochrane Generals junior 'B' hockey team has seemingly found their stride with their first three-game winning streak after an 8-0 thumping of the Lomond Lakers on Oct. 27.

The Cochrane High Cobras football team is back in the Rocky View Sports Association (RVSA) league final after they handily defeated the Bert Church Chargers 50-7 on Oct. 20 in the 'A' semi-final.

Amid snowy conditions, the St. Timothy High School cross country team contested the Calgary City Championships on Oct. 10 at Canmore Park in Calgary.

While the Cochrane High Cobras and Bow Valley Bobcats football team's are headed in different directions at the end of the Rocky View Sports Association (RVSA) regular season, both are gearing up for their respective league playoffs which begin Oct.
