With only one game remaining on their schedule, the Cochrane Chaos are preparing for the Alberta Junior Female Hockey League (AJFHL) playoffs.

Cochranite and University of Calgary Dinos wrestler Callum McNeice was named the Canada West Outstanding Male Wrestler of the Year on Feb. 10 following the 2018 Canada West Championship at the University of Alberta.

It was an exciting final stretch to the Cochrane General’s season as the team jockeyed for top of the division with Coaldale and Okotoks.

With a 3-1 victory over the Calgary Titans on Feb. 2, the Cochrane Chaos have now won six games in a row and 14 of their last 15 Alberta Junior Female Hockey League (AJFHL) games, dating back to Nov. 4.

All three of the AA Bow Valley Timberwolves teams, ranging from Pee Wee to Midget, are at very important stages of their South Central Alberta Hockey League (SCAHL) seasons, with very few games remaining. Coming off a 4-1 win on Feb.

Former Cochrane High Cobras running back and linebacker Jackson McLean signed with the University of Calgary Dinos football program on Jan. 27.
