It’s been almost a month since I ran the Marathon of Afghanistan and I have been asked many questions about the race.

Our coffee companion Stu Bradley sat down with me at the Cochrane A&W this week and enriched me with a lesson about a value of the Old West that is fundamental to living together peacefully.

The Stoney Tribal Council has made progress regarding the budget and the financial situation affecting the Chiniki First Nation. Chiniki has agreed to a 26-point remedial plan that will result in their deficit being repaid over the next few years.

While conflict continues throughout the world, we have been fortunate enough to have avoided full scale global war like those of the First and Second World Wars.

Over the last two months I’ve participated in a number of events including the Edmonton half marathon, Dino Dash 10 km, Terry Fox 10 km Heart Beat 10 km and Gorilla Run 16 km, in each case, dressed as my alter ego, Captain Clot Buster.
