I read recent letters to the editor by the astroturf group Alberta Can’t Wait (ACW) with interest.

Re: rebuttal to Cam Westhead’s criticism of conservative values (Cochrane Eagle, Oct. 27/16) First, I find it truly amazing that Cam would have the temerity to say the unite the right movement is “out of touch with modern Albertans.

Oct. 13 and 20, 2016 letters “The left’s big lie…,” “Only right and wrong” and “Minimum wage increase won’t help anyone” continually produce financial misinformation and reduce political process to shoes.

Owen Neal sent a great letter to the editor in your last edition outlining the fallacies of the present NDP Government, but Owen did not go far enough in that he did not mention the movement to Unite the Right.

I do believe all people should make a living wage, but driving up the minimum wage does not have that effect. If you look at the numbers according to the Government of Alberta website there are 290,000 people in Alberta that make minimum wage.

Great letter (The left’s big lie,” Cochrane Eagle Oct. 13). However we have to get this right and left idea straight. The only thing in my home that is left is my shoe.
