I believe it is necessary to dispel the half truths in the letter from Rocky View Reeve Greg Boehlke, presumably written on behalf of the council majority.

I feel compelled to respond to the letter in the September 1st Cochrane Eagle written by Rocky View Reeve Boehlke on the issue of a voters’ list for Rocky View County.

I’m writing to set the record straight over Rocky View County Council’s majority decisions on preparing voting lists. Rocky View County does not rely on the “honour system” for casting ballots in municipal elections.

I was disappointed upon reading "Cochrane Lake development worries residents" in last week’s Eagle. I felt the article failed to properly account for viewpoints other than two disgruntled residents.

Re “Coun. needs to build bridges” by Gerry Neustaedter Aug. 25. We can only be grateful that Neustaedter no longer occupies a council seat in Rocky View County (RVC). The indecision and nonsensical blather in his letter to editor confirms this. i.e.
