Cochrane RCMP are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found near the Chiniki Rodeo Grounds yesterday. The police responded to a complaint of body found on Aug. 7 at 3:18 p.m.

Bill Popplewell was named Community Builder of the Year at the Cochrane Community Awards because of his “passion and enthusiasm.” “I was shocked and surprised to receive the award,” Popplewell said.
