Since launching in 2019, Alberta’s One Line for Sexual violence has been contacted over 10,000 times by people in about 100 communities.

CCTV footage collected from the area confirmed the victim had been walking westbound on 10th Avenue S.W., towards Sixth Street S.W., when a dark-coloured SUV pulled up and an occupant of the vehicle fired multiple shots.

“Obviously our dancers and our instructors, our admin team, but also our parents and our families have really jumped in,” she said. “It really does take a village to put on a production like this.”
