The Cochrane Christmas Farmers Market returns for their 11th annual seasonal market with over 130 vendors and occupying two floor at SLSFSC on Dec. 10 and 11.

A Cochrane couple got a rude awakening when they discovered to their dismay that an online billing device they used to sell their artwork at a Bragg Creek market in November wasn’t actually collecting payments.

“There were some ups and downs on the day, but overall the group set a great tone for the club going forward into the 2023 competitive year,” Cummings said.

"It’s going to be a great show," Kaczmer stated.

There may not be any restaurants open Dec. 25, but there will be jingling and mingling aplenty on Christmas Day for anyone and everyone who wants to drop by the Cochrane Alliance Church around noon for some soup and fellowship.

Lang hopes that with the combined advocacy efforts of both Airdrie-area MLAs and the RVS Board of Trustees, the timing is right to get new schools on the province’s radar.

According to Dawn, adult puppetry is an unusual art form in North America, though it is very common in Europe. 

Bragg Creek's annual Spirit of Christmas festival featured an outdoor market, horse-drawn sleigh rides, public skating, a children's market, scavenger hunt, and free hot chocolate on Dec. 3.

“This holiday season, we are asking Albertans to support wildlife in need and include AIWC as part of their Christmas giving in whatever way they can,” read an AIWC press release. “Wildlife needs us, and we need them.”
