Tickets are available now at the Gentry Espresso and Wine Bar for $10 per movie ticket or $25 for a ticket and dinner which reserves you a seat in the two centre rows. The menu will be a Saskatchewan inspired mix for the main course and a possible dessert to follow.

"Nashville has great chants that their fans do and once they got those two quick goals, their fans gained some energy and I think it woke up the home crowd a bit. Once those 85,000 people (did that) it turned into a madhouse. It was definitely special to be there."

The county has also received all regulatory approvals for the project. However, because of the timing of a Water Act approval, the earliest construction could commence is July 2020 due to the Restricted Activity Period (RAP).

Genung points to Cochrane’s diverse economy and says the community will really benefit when the innovation centre opens. He says unlike other communities in the province, the innovation centre will help the town be less reliant on oil and gas.

Their first meeting of the new decade takes place on Friday, Jan. 10 at the King Solomon Lodge on Centre Avenue. Dr. Michael Moloney and Dr. Matthew Ayre, both Calgary-based researchers of a sunken whaling ship from 118 years ago, will be leading a presentation.
