Cochrane RCMP are currently investigating a series of vandalism reports after several local businesses reported graffiti tags painted on their buildings between July 26 and 27. These incidents follow shortly after two individuals were charged in a separate vandalism case on July 24. However, police do not believe the two cases are connected.
“Cochrane RCMP are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible,” the detachment stated. “If your home or business is in the affected area, please review any surveillance footage you may have and report anything suspicious.”
Anyone with information can contact the Cochrane RCMP detachment at 403-932-2211. Those who wish to remain anonymous may reach out to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477, submitting a tip online at www.P3Tips.com, or using the "P3 Tips" mobile app available through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Police are continuing their investigation and urge the community to remain vigilant and report anything unusual.
