Cochrane reports 11 active cases of COVID-19

The town had a reported 11 active cases of the virus as of the end of day Tuesday (Feb. 2). To date, 315 cases have been identified in Cochrane— Two people have died and 302 people have recovered.

COCHRANE— The Town of Cochrane saw a slight uptick in active COVID-19 cases Wednesday (Feb. 3).

The town had a reported 11 active cases of the virus as of end of day Tuesday (Feb. 2). To date, 315 cases have been identified in Cochrane— Two people have died and 302 people have recovered.

The province identified 259 active cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours after the completion of 6,837 tests.

The testing positivity rate currently sits at 3.5 per cent.

There are 539 people hospitalized in Alberta due to COVID-19, including 94 in intensive care.

The province reported an additional 11 COVID-related deaths. To date, 1,671 Albertans have died.

There are 6,599 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.
