After weeks of out-of-season temperature highs and sunshine in the community, Cochranites can finally break out their winter gear and snow shovels as the temperature drops over the next few days.
Although the forecast predicts a few suns and clouds with a high of 9C, the temperature drops to a low of -3C with a possibility of rain or snow.
By Monday, residents can expect a full day of snow with a daytime high of -1C, with an overnight low of -8C.
This carries on into Tuesday with a daytime high of -4C, but sees the end of snow hitting the streets of town at night with an overnight low of -13C.
For the rest of the week, residents can expect mostly a mix of sun and cloud with a high on Wednesday of -1 and a low of -13C, followed by a high of 1C on both Thursday and Friday.
