An abandoned vehicle in Stoney Nakoda has lead to 15 charges including possession of methamphetamine after RCMP officers tracked a fleeing suspect with help from police dog services earlier this week.

"We've had such a big lead up, we're ready to take over and just do it. It's such an incredible show too ... I go home every day and tell my parents what I've done because it's their generation of songs that we just get to give to them."

The voracious boy the community nicknamed Cowboy Colby almost lost his life.

A luxury home in Springbank, in the final stages of construction, became engulfed in fire Friday (Nov. 29) afternoon shortly after 4 p.m. The majority of the 12,000 square-foot home was destroyed.

The Cochrane RCMP detachment will be closing early on Friday, December 6 and Tuesday, December 24.
