Laurie Smith is one of the many hockey heroes that makes the sport possible in Cochrane.

"The game is in honour of Owen and having Betty and Randy there is still key to sharing the message. As I said, they are important members of the Chaos family and it is great to have them at this game and at any of our games when they are able to attend."

"It was and still is an absolutely surreal feeling," Noble said when asked how it felt to score the game-winning goal. "I think it was obvious to everyone in that rink how overcome with emotion every single one of us was when the puck went in."

"The excitement level kind of revolves around the two-week forecast ... once the 14-day forecast came out and showed the temperature will be hovering around zero during the weekend of the tournament, it's kind of been all smiles from us."

"It's really exciting," he said when asked about what he was feeling after he scored. "It's a weight lifted off my shoulders, I wasn't expecting to be in the line up or playing forward but it was a lot of fun."

"I'm thankful that I was fortunate enough to be invited," Jake said. "The experience was great, I was spoiled from the start of the trip to the finish. It was great to not only get to see behind the scenes into the hockey operations but spend time with Dill as well."

"When people come to league-wide events and see players with the Generals red helmet and pants making plays and standing out, they know exactly who we play for. We've built our program with fast and hard-working hockey players and I think that shows."

"Nashville has great chants that their fans do and once they got those two quick goals, their fans gained some energy and I think it woke up the home crowd a bit. Once those 85,000 people (did that) it turned into a madhouse. It was definitely special to be there."

"Another thing I think is the people I've met, a number of people from Cochrane and Calgary who come out year, after year to support this event."

"I think we were pretty good for the most part (in the first half)," Garber said. "A little bit inconsistent here and there but after starting off 1-3, we went into Christmas with a 17-8-2 record. I think that's pretty respectable."
