Cochrane Fire Services crews responded to a fire at The Community Food Co., located at 185 1 St E. on Wednesday morning, tying up downtown traffic for a few hours.

“The trend right now is to go toward what was STEM, but now they added a new abbreviation to that, which is STEAM,” Guenther said. “It’s science, technology, engineering, arts, and math."

“We encourage people to use the reserve responsibly. We want to protect the environment here,[as] it’s an opportunity for outdoor leisure that supports health and well-being,” Bietz said.

Students at Mitford School took to the stage and showcased their unique skills in front of peers, teachers, and parents during "Mitford's Got Talent" on April 28.

Elections are high stakes, but also grand political theatre. Hopefully, a better future will emerge for Alberta from the rubble, dust, and ashes when the election is finally complete.

“It’s a great event to come out to and people have a lot of fun,” Sawicki said. “There’s a lot of laughter and storytelling, and it goes on in the morning, so it’s an excellent event and it’s for all age groups as well.”

“We have larger pieces and usually more pieces for sale,” Kalas said, “It’s been held at the Ranchehouse for at least five years, ever since I’ve been a member, and we rent both rooms so we have two beautiful [and] large rooms for enjoyment and full of art.”

“It was a great experience,” Belibi said. “When you do something like this to raise awareness for a cause like autism, it is for a worthy cause, because that means it is not always easy. But it is worth it, and when you look at it at the end, it is beautiful.”

Due to dry and windy conditions, Rocky View County Fire Services has issued a fire advisory for both the east and west divisions of Rocky View County, effective immediately.
