Cochrane High School Cobras varisty girls basketball head coach Randy Peron has been named as the new coach for the girls U14 zone two basketball team that will be taking part in the upcoming Alberta Summer Games (July 14-17).

The Cochrane High School Cobras football team hosted its year-end banquet on Dec. 17.

The Bow Valley Midget AA Timberwolves continued their rocky season losing their remaining two games of the calendar year. T-wolves fell 5-2 on Dec. 18 to Okotoks Oilers Black.

Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre was alight with former NHL stars on Dec. 18 as St. Timothy High School hosted its annual teacher versus student hockey game.
