“We’ve had a really great response from our members, just wanting their kids to get out there, have fun, play the game and just hang out with their friends. And at the same time, I think the parents are just excited to get back out and see their friends and be around the diamond."

“I’ve said for the last bunch of years that if you get kids on bikes and get them hooked on bikes young, and show them the community around bicycles, and what it can involve it will keep them out of trouble later on. I’ve kind of always had that mindset, I want kids on bikes so they’re not bored, because bored kids get into trouble.”

“There were about 50 or 60 participants, I don’t remember the exact number of people. It was about 50 women. Word got out, and there’s probably about triple if not quadruple that amount right now that want to do it. I’m getting emails and text messages all the time from people who want to participate."

“We’re already seeing large numbers of kids out, which is great, that’s why we built that project, and we expect to get into the hundreds of riders a day as we had last summer very quickly.”

“We’re still in the infantile stages of planning. We’re kind of trying to wait it out and see where to spend our energy."

Here are the basics for starting your very own home gym.

“We’re very hopeful that in September, which is many months away, things will be under control, and things will be back to normal a little bit more, and that includes us playing regular football, contact football. We’re gearing up for that”

“I think there’s going to be a lot of room for me to improve going to the colts. Playing for the Colts is really going to help my play style and give me good tips that I didn’t know before and overall make a better player."

“It’s volunteers. It’s not a Town project, it’s a project that Bike Cochrane fundraised for, and through the generosity of a lot of donors and community association grants, we were able to build almost a $100,000 bike park. Hopefully, that’s not the last one that we build, but it does mean that any money that we have to put back into rehabilitating it is money we can’t be putting into other new projects.”

“It’s like a dream come true for me. Ever since I started running it’s been my goal and my family’s that I would run somewhere for a university. Just to be able to do that, all my hard work is paying off."
