Regarding the Jan. 11, edition of the Cochrane Eagle I would like to commend Rhonda Spindler for her very informative article on the proposed new interchange at 1A and 22 highway.

First off, Happy Holidays Cochrane! Also, a personal thank you to Coun. Marni Fedeyko for taking time out of her busy day (2017/12/31) to meet with me to discuss some recent council activities.

After much discussion with family, friends, neighbours and those we know in surrounding communities, I am taking on the task of writing to all of you with our thoughts regarding the plans for a new interchange at Highway 1A and Highway 22 in Cochrane

Coun. Marni Fedeyko intends to bring up the issue of year-round parking of trailers at the Jan. 8 council meeting. Please do not do this, Marni.

In his reflection on 2017/2018, NDP MLA Cam Westhead declared, “The UCP has been spreading misinformation and misleading Albertans just to score cheap political points.

I would like to sincerely thank Jaipur India Cuisine and the volunteers for the delicious Christmas lunch! They never asked anything from those who came and we received delicious and generous meals. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.

As we welcome in 2018 we want to reflect on the success of 2017 and all the help we received from the community to make Share Your Christmas hamper campaign a great big success.
