Cochrane RCMP are trying to locate the rightful owner of suspected stolen property.

“The weather system here is so brutal. You can have all elements in one day in this part of the world, rain, sunshine, wind, snow, all in one day.”

“We are on a positive trend our numbers indicate that the restrictions that we put in place last month, while extremely challenging, are helping to prevent more people from being exposed and getting sick with this virus.”

What's happening in Cochrane this week: A community donation from Two Pharmacy, the Tim Bannister Memorial Rink reopened for public use and Cochrane artists will display their work in a photography festival.

“Just hang in there. That’s what I want to keep telling the people and to myself. It’s not going to be the same forever, it’s going to change— It’s for sure going to change. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Do your best, give some positivity out and do whatever you can, but hang in there.”

Cochrane Minor Ball saw more than 120 registrations on day one of its registration period on Friday (Jan. 15).
