The Cochrane Generals are ready for the regular season. After dropping a 5-4 overtime decision to the Airdrie Thunder on Sept.

The Cochrane Cup took place Sept. 16 and 17, and the tournament was a huge success. The level of competition was equal all weekend and the feedback organizers Paul Tas and Oscar Pacheco received from the teams was all positive.

The Cochrane Chaos started their preseason campaign on a high note with a pair of wins over the Calgary Titans and the Lethbridge Eagles on Sept. 16 and 17. The Chaos defeated the Titans 6-3, while shutting out Lethbridge the following day 5-0.

Cochrane Cobras senior girls soccer coach, Carolyn Mcleod, has high expectations for her team this year. ‘We’re here to take back Divisionals back. Obviously we want to win Zone’s again too, but Divisionals is certainly on the top of our to do list.
