Spirits were high as St. Timothy High School hosted its 10th annual Evening with the Thunder on June 1 in the school’s gymnasium.

After dominating the Rocky View Sports Association (RVSA) soccer scene for many years, the Cochrane High School Cobras have had to settle for third-best this season.

It’s only early June, but bike season is in full swing. The Cochrane BMX Association recently opened its track for the 2016 season, and is already seeing record numbers of participants.

The Bow Valley Rugby Club recently won Ambassador of the Year at the Cochrane Community Awards on May 29.

Practice makes perfect, and the St. Timothy High School Thunder runners proved that at the Alberta Schools’ Athletic Association (ASAA) Provincial Track and Field Championships in Edmonton, June 4 and 5.

All good things come to an end. The Cochrane Bears boys rugby team had the goal of making it to the Alberta Schools’ Athletic Association (ASAA) Provincials in the back of their collective minds all season.

The Cochrane High School Cobras track and field team three-peated at Provincials in Edmonton over the weekend, finishing first in the 3A school category and fourth overall.
