The Cochrane Generals were stunned over the weekend as they fell to a 5-2 defeat against Three Hills Thrashers in Heritage Junior Hockey League (HJHL) action.

Cochrane Curling Club recently hosted their annual Junior Bonspiel over the weekend of Dec. 4-6. Twenty teams in total took part in the event. 12 teams participating in the Bantam event (Under-15) and eight in the Juvenile category (Under-18).

Twenty-eight of Trinity Taekwon-Do Academy’s youngest members took part in a kids-only tournament on Dec. 5 at W.G. Murdoch High School in Crossfield.

Cochrane Curling Club played host to the 6th Annual Cochrane Seniors Bonspiel from Nov. 25-28. 108 curlers participated in five events, with there being 10 winners in total.
