RVS! It’s time to "play ball." In the summer of 2014, a group of concerned neighbours of Mitford School were told by the Rocky View Schools board that the 18 portables that were placed on the ball field, were "temporary.

Sometimes I seriously wonder why I still believe that being involved in politics can actually do some good. Take for example council’s current commitment toward public transit.

I am flabbergasted by what is happening in our country and province right now. I am unemployed as of Dec 23, 2016, as many Albertans are, and this is my second time being laid off this year.

A refreshing breeze came through Cochrane last Dec. 19 in the form of PC leadership candidate, Jason Kenney.

I sit here in disgust after reading the “Griffin sexual assault involving minors” articles. I just cannot wrap my head around how human beings can put the victims on trial instead of the perpetrators.

I would dearly love three or four in my backyard in River Heights. I am so excited by the prospect of being able to keep them, and I will be one of the first to apply for permission from the town when the time comes.

I have been reading with interest, the plans to implement a new transit infrastructure. I think it's a wonderful forward thinking idea and considerably well overdue.

We are responding to Bob Harrison who responded to Glen McGaughlin regarding backyard hens in Cochrane. We have raised chickens for 40 years in the Cochrane area. And we know that roosters do not lay eggs.
