Break and enter in Bragg Creek A home break-in was reported on May 14 in the Bragg Creek area where a number of items were stolen, including firearms and the ashes of a family member. RCMP confirmed there was also cash and jewelry stolen.

It has been a tragic weekend on roads around Cochrane with accidents on Friday and Saturday evenings killing two people. The first accident occurred at around 6 p.m. Friday evening in the Didsbury RCMP detachment area.

Cochrane RCMP is seeking tips from the public after a truck and trailer were stolen last night in the Elbow Valley area. The truck is described to be a white 2015 Ford F150 with an Albertan licence plate of BPR7889.

Last week, two separate incidents prompted Cochrane RCMP to alert the community of a suspicious male. The individual has now attempted twice to lure young boys into his vehicle over the course of two days.

A man is dead after a homicide investigation in Morley resulted in a fire fight between RCMP and one suspect.

Cochrane RCMP are seeking assistance from the public to locate and identifying two males wanted in conjunction with a stolen vehicle and an attempt to steal property.

Cochrane RCMP responded to multiple thefts in Rocky View today. One vehicle from Blueridge View, a grey 2014 Lexus RX350 with the Alberta Licence Plate KED414, was stolen from the garage of the home.
